The Life of a Showgirl

A young girl in a black and white costume with star and moon designs, feather accents, and a skirt reveals her legs, posing with arms raised and smiling against a blue sky backdrop.

Kelsey’s passion for acting was ignited at age ten while watching her brother rehearse for a local theater production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. That early spark eventually led her from the stage to the screen, where she booked her breakout role as the lead in Eric Church’s CMA-nominated "Springsteen" music video.

Since then, Kelsey has built a diverse and dynamic portfolio. Her notable credits include the cult-horror classic Last Girl Standing (Showtime/Shudder) and hosting three seasons of the popular food-travel series BBQuest on Hulu.

Most recently, Kelsey starred as the lead in the critically acclaimed found-footage horror film Man Finds Tape. Following its premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival, the film secured distribution with Magnolia Pictures and earned a Certified Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes. As a longtime devotee of the genre, Kelsey continues her horror streak in a starkly different role in the upcoming slasher American Dollhouse. The film made its world premiere at the 2026 SXSW Film Festival, with critics offering rave reviews for her performance.
